‘I was bedridden for a year’

It was 43 degrees in Delhi when Manoj Bajpai was shooting for his film Jugaad. While the heat was taking a toll on all, Manoj remained as cool as a cucumber. . . .
The year 2007 has not been a favourable one for him says the actor as most of his films got shelved. “Two of my English films also didn’t see the light of the day. 1971 and Swami which were ready in 2007, finally got released in 2008,” says the actor, who is now doing Sanddeep Kapur’s Jugaad and Ganesh Acharya’s Money Hai Toh Honey Hai. . . .
For his next Money Hai Toh... he will be sharing screen space with Govinda, another brilliant actor who has made a comeback. “It was fun working with him. He was always there to help me. We used to party almost every night and that’s when I got to know the real Govinda,” he says. . . .
