A rumor is spreading that Govinda requested director Tigmanshu to change lyrics in a song for the upcoming film Showman. Govinda's belief that the existing lyrics were jinxed, as they somehow related to the recent death of Salman Khan's dog, spurred Govinda's request.

Partner is a Bollywood version of the hollywood movie Hitch. Prem
(Salman Khan) is a Love Guru who solves the love issues of his clients.
He meets Bhaskar Divakar Choudhary (Govinda) who comes to Prem for help
in his love life. Bhaskar loves his boss Priya Jaisingh (Katrina Kaif)
but is unable to express his love to her as she is the daughter of a
wealthy businessman. Prem initially refuses to help Bhaskar and goes to
Phuket, Thailand. Bhaskar follows him there and convinces him to help
him.

Up from the ashes as the Phoenix, DVD Dhamaka, http://www.dvddhamaka.com/index.php , has a new site. Quick-loading with nicely sized and clear images, the site has many search parameters, but most do not work yet. Registered users will be able to rate and submit reviews - not available yet - and the film details are basic with a synopsis.
There are approximately 40 Govinda films available in the catalog - the standard offerings. In their previous incarnation, DVD Dhamaka offered over 60 Govinda films with VCDs, CDs and even VHS tapes. Their new site only offers DVDs and CDs and the site's format is aimed towards Western buyers. Based out of New Jersey, USA, the shipping fees and time are standard while the video prices range from .99 to over $100.
We at Govinda Ahuja Info purchased two separate orders from this company in very early 2008. Both orders were received in good condition and in the expected shipping time frame. There are forums with complaints against this company which could indicate a change in management or degradation in integrity.

Customers may now review and rate titles and your browsing history is tracked - a convenience for those who deliberate their purchases, a nuisance to those who prefer privacy.
Customers may also report errors - of which there are several amongst the 49 titles currently offered for Govinda.
